Prioritising is putting certain things in our lives in order. It’s knowing that through our daily choices, we show who and what is really important to us and our lives. 

So I ask you, youth…

What has been PRIORITY for you? The doctrines, desires, beliefs and wills of the world, or the WILL and the WORD OF GOD?

The world today has put ‘everything and anything’ on a pedestal: intelligence, material goods, even social media, when they choose to rely on these above all else. They live a life with various tasks, dreams, plans and projects, which is generally fine, but they prioritise these with their ‘Ego’ in mind.

To understand what we have really chosen to put first, all we have to do is analyse our daily lives, in the smallest decisions we make.

When the simplest choice arises first thing in the morning: the mobile phone or the Bible? Social media or God? The will of the flesh or the WILL OF GOD.

Priorities are established by DECISIONS.

MATTHEW 6:33

‘But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.’

TO WHOM HAVE YOU BEEN GIVING YOUR HEART?

Our priorities say a lot about who we are. When we put God first in our day, and in all matters, he takes a higher place and begins to rule according to His will. And when that happens, we choose to honour Him, we grow in everything we do and we lack nothing, because putting God first is the best choice we can make.

YOUTH, decide and prefer to be with God, to make Him your most precious possession, to have a lifestyle in which God always has first place in everything!
