Don’t despise the challenges of this life. Recognise that everything that happens has a purpose and is for the sake of strengthening your character as a youth.

Be humble, respectful and subject to the authorities

Recognise that being a young Christian is a sign of having the strength and weapons necessary to face everyday life and overcome tribulations.

Making the right decisions, looking at life according to the principles of the Bible
‘How shall a young man cleanse his way? By observing it according to your word’ – Psalm 119:9
Be aware and live responsibly, knowing that all actions have consequences
‘Rejoice, young man, in your youth, and let your heart cheer you in the days of your youth and walk in the ways of your heart and in the sight of your eyes; but know that for all these things God will bring you into judgement.’ – Ecclesiastes 11:9
Be an example to those around you
‘Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity’ – 1 Timothy 4:12
Don’t give in to the worldly habits that surround you
