Human beings were essentially created to live in communion. By nature, they need interaction, coexistence and interconnection. However, there are certain moments when they take refuge in the solitude of their thoughts.

The reality is that we all know that sometimes we need to have these moments, but not with the intention of actually being isolated from everything and everyone, but with the purpose of having a moment ALONE WITH GOD.

MATTHEW6:6

6“But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father who is unseen, and your Father who sees what is done in secret will reward you.”

A moment alone with God is not, or rather, should not be, a moment to seek our satisfaction before Him, make requests, or show interest in what God may give us.

It is actually being able to enjoy His presence and present praises to Him, resting there until God descends into our hearts, breaking every ego and every barrier that exists, it is making that moment an opening for God, and only Him, to reign in us.

When in our daily lives, we desire and are increasingly drawn to these great moments of prayer and praise, we make our spirit prevail over our soul and flesh, and we truly let God lead our lives.

PSALMS 63:1-8

1“O GOD, you are my God; early will I seek you; my soul thirsts for you, my flesh longs for you in a dry and weary land, where there is no water;

2To see your strength and your glory, as I saw you in the sanctuary.

3Because your lovingkindness is better than life, my lips will praise you.

4So I will bless you as long as I live: in your name I will lift up my hands.

5My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness: and my mouth shall praise thee with joyful lips,

6When I remember you on my bed, and meditate on you in the watches of the night.

7Because you have been my help, I will sing for joy, taking refuge in the shadow of your wings.

8My soul follows closely behind you; your right hand upholds me.”

 Therefore,Young KURIAKOS! Strengthen yourself in moments alone with God, to seek direction, to know His will for your life. Place your complete trust in Him and wherever He takes you and uses you, you will always be a blessing.
