Year after year, the tendency is always to make new plans, set new goals and make new resolutions for what we want to achieve. A car, a house, a job, money, professional success, among other things, which are not necessarily bad, but when the only focus becomes achieving these goals, they take the place of honour in our hearts and, without realising it, we leave behind what is most important.

While the world outside craves more, desires more, lives for more, chasing after everything in order to become wealthy, with their hearts filled with love for themselves and the status they can achieve, blinded by their desires, they are unaware of the one who can empower them and give them all this and something even more valuable, the Salvation and Eternal Life, that is Jesus.

MATTHEW 6:31-33
31 Therefore, do not be anxious, saying, ‘What shall we eat, or what shall we drink, or what shall we wear?’
32 (For after all these things the Gentiles seek.) For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.
33 But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.”

What good is having so much money and not having Christ? What good is being so successful in the world and not having Christ? What good is having recognition from everyone and achieving all your goals and not having Christ? It is worthless.

The first and greatest goal we can have in our lives day after day, year after year, is to be like Jesus, who was not only successful in everything, but more importantly, whose greatest victory here on Earth was to live to do God’s will.

JOHN 6:38
38 “For I have come down from heaven, not to do my own will, but the will of him who sent me.”

Therefore, KURIAKOS youth, decide each time to place CHRIST on the throne of your life and your heart, set yourself the goal of pursuing and achieving God’s goals, and you will see that God in His greatness will make you prosper in your personal goals beyond what you expect or plan.

Make Jesus the true model in your life, following in his footsteps and fulfilling the purpose that God has for you. Thus, may YOUR AIM here on Earth be CHRIST.
